School Counselor

Welcome to School Counseling!

The Pioneer School Counseling department offers a variety of services and resources for the children and family members of our school.  As the school counselor, I have the opportunity to work with all Pioneer students.  My responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Classroom Lessons
• Crisis Intervention
• Group Counseling
• Individual Counseling
• Parent Resource

Classroom lessons are taught bi-weekly to all students.  Each month has a theme based on the developmental needs of our students.  The Ashwaubenon School District’s Counseling Department has identified eight topics as their focus for all students:

• Academic Success
• Career Education
• Citizenship
• Diversity
• Relationships
• Safety and Wellness
• Self-understanding and Management Transitions
